Itinerary

Title: “Kenya Coast & Safari Expedition”

Day 01 Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Safari Revive’s dedicated team will extend a warm, traditional welcome to you. This includes a reception with bubbly drinks, refreshing wet towels, and the presentation of an authentic safari hat along with a beautiful canvas pouch filled with essential safari items. Afterward, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 Masai Mara Game Reserve

After enjoying breakfast, we embark on a journey to Kenya’s renowned game reserve, the Masai Mara. The day begins with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, leading us to the northernmost extension of the Serengeti Plains. This region is a treasure trove of wildlife, home to majestic black-maned lions, elusive leopards, graceful giraffes, vast herds of elephants, rhinos, thundering zebra herds, and the spectacular migration of wildebeest, among other plains game. Upon arrival at the camp or lodge, you’ll savor a late lunch, followed by an afternoon game-viewing drive. Your day ends with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 – 4 Masai Mara Game Reserve

After an early morning breakfast, you’ll indulge in a full morning of game viewing before returning for lunch. Immerse yourself in the harmonious coexistence of the Maasai community with the wild animals, and after lunch, you have the option (quoted separately) to visit a traditional Maasai Manyatta, an off-the-beaten-track experience that provides insight into the customs and traditions of this renowned community. The Maasai maintain their age-old way of life, and you’ll have the chance to interact with these nomadic people. The afternoon brings more game viewing as you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Today’s adventure begins at dawn as the flames from the hot air balloon burners illuminate the darkness. As the crew inflates the balloon, the first rays of sunlight paint the skies pink. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-colored canopy, you embark on a game-viewing adventure from a unique perspective. The flight is remarkably quiet, save for the occasional hiss of the burners. It offers a chance to witness the Masai Mara plains in magical silence. Following the flight, you’ll enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush, complete with flowers. A table set with china and crystal awaits you under a convenient acacia tree. Afterward, a game drive back to the camp or lodge presents the opportunity to spot the same pride of lions or herd of elephants you observed during the balloon safari. A flight certificate is awarded upon completion of the balloon adventure. Back at the camp or lodge, you can relish a sumptuous lunch and a well-deserved rest.

Day 5 Lake Naivasha

This morning, following breakfast, you’ll check out and embark on a drive to Naivasha, situated at the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Naivasha is known for its prolific horticultural activities, diverse bird species, picturesque climate, and serene ambiance that evokes inner peace. After having lunch, you’ll enjoy a boat ride and visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari on the lake’s eastern side, which is also home to Masai giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, steenboks, impalas, and gazelles. Walking among giraffes and zebras with no barriers between you and the wildlife is a liberating experience. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, we set out for Amboseli National Park, situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and then embark on your first game drive with the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. Later, you’ll return to your lodge or camp for dinner.

Day 7 Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at your lodge or camp. Spend your midday hours relaxing by the pool, all while gazing at the majestic mountain. After lunch, you’ll embark on another game drive, returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 Amboseli – Diani

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Diani. Upon arrival, our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll arrive at the resort with ample time to check in and receive a warm welcome. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Spend the day at your leisure, savoring meals and enjoying your stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Nairobi

As our remarkable safari and beach journey comes to a close, you’ll cherish the memories captured in photographs, immortalizing your experiences. After a relaxed breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, your driver guide will accompany you to the international airport for your onward journey.
